Dick Day
Ok. Forget 'colored' bras, does anyone have ANY type of bra on an Edge? I see ads for them, but wonder how they would fit with the 3-bar grill? Thanks
bbf2530
Ok. Forget 'colored' bras, does anyone have ANY type of bra on an Edge? I see ads for them, but wonder how they would fit with the 3-bar grill? Thanks Hi D Day. :D I figured I would answer so you do not think you are being ignored. Those front end bras have really fallen out of favor. They have a tendency to do more harm than good. You need to keep the paint underneath well waxed (always a good idea anyway), but you also need to constantly check to be sure no dirt or contamination has found its way under the bra. In addition, you should not drive with a bra installed when it is raining or the bra is wet. Then, every time the bra gets wet, you need to remove it and let it dry, as it will cause paint damage over the long term if you do not, along with the fact that the rain will wash dirt and contamination under the bra. Then of course, you need to clean the bra and the front end of the car again before you can reattach it. There are better options, such as the "clear bras" now available, This is a clear tape membrane (I believe 3M makes one type) which is applied to the front end impact areas. It allows you to protect your front end finish, but still see your car for its beauty, instead of a black vinyl bra. To answer your particular question, I have not seen colored bras in my area. However, if you still are interested in a traditional bra, I would try here: LINK: Covercraft If you look in the left side menu, you will see "Front End Masks", those are the bras. See if they have anything you may be interested in. Covercraft is one of the top auto accessory manufacturers around. I have purchased and used many of their products over the years. You can give them a call and ask any questions you may have, or to find out where their nearest retailer is located by you. Good luck. :beerchug: Edited April 30, 2008 by bbf2530
Dick Day
Thank you! I was beginning to wonder I will forget the traditional bra after reading your reply. I will check into the clear ones. Noah Harbinger
The best thing about this thread is the "Posture Corrector" ad that sometimes comes up on the left....
