Edstock
Chuck might be a little goofy, and the duchess looks like roadkill, but the Lincoln is a royal ride indeed.
suv_guy_19
It certainly is that.
rmc523
I imagined him saying "oh look at this beautiful vehicle....look at that sunroof......" as he was sitting in the car waiting to go.
twintornados
As he entered the vehicle, two ideas popped into my mind....Formal roof line, and six inch stretch.
BORG
He's probably use to crummy Town Cars in the Americas and was surprised to see something civilized .
J-150
this guy gets an Aston for his birthday from his Mom. Im sure his personal fleet (even if he doesnt drive them) consists of every supercar ever made. Sorry, no matter how nice a Lincoln is, can't compete with Bentleys, RRs, Astons etc
Ford Jellymoulds
Big ears has been telling people they should give up theirs cars in favour of walking and public transport instead to reduce their carbon footprint, talk about practice what you preach. LINK Cruella always looks like she has a piece of $h!t under her nose. Not my two favourite Brits, but l like the Queen. Edstock
Sorry, no matter how nice a Lincoln is, can't compete with Bentleys, RRs, Astons etc Don't be sorry, they just don't make $300,000 Lincolns. Go price a Bentley or a Roller. If Ford were stupid enough to do so, you can be certain that it would be entirely satisfactory. If Chuck is like his Grandfather, he probably enjoyed the ride. 70 years ago, in the Summer of 1939, his grandfather, King George MK VI and Queen Mary visited Canada. The Canuck gov't requested Ford, GM and Chryco to supply a luxury ride for the royal couple. My father was in charge of organizing the Lincoln, making sure it was where it should be, at each stage of their itinerary. To his delight, MK VI thought it was the best of the bunch, and was the vehicle used for most of their visit.
J-150
King George MK VI caught that LMAO and wasn't his Grandmothers' name Elizabeth?

Edstock
and wasn't his Grandmothers' name Elizabeth? Could be; I don't follow the royal hoo-ha. Sorta like I don't follow the Maple Griefs, either.

Could be worse Ed, She could wear a Pirates jersey which would mean you'd be looking at 17 years without a "winning season".
LoveTaurus
I wonder was that specific MKS a modified bullet proof vehicle!? Like many of the Towncars or Cadillac s were sold to the US government modified with thick glass and side panels, etc.

suv_guy_19
My guess is probably. Maybe....I'm not sure if the cars used by the Governor General (the person in charge of Canada while the Queen isn't here) are bullet proof. They certainly wouldn't be protected to the same level as "the beast", but I'm guessing they have some form of protection. As a side note, it's interesting that the Governor General generally rides in Ford products (usually a town car...and I guess an MKS now) and the Prime Minister in a Cadillac. I suppose Ford is more royal than GM :P.

I just found it interesting that our royals had a ride in a Lincoln.
Edstock
My guess is probably. From the video, there appeared to be nothing special: normal glass. Then again, it's Newfoundland, Canada, which is peaceful and dull, and it's Chuck and Camel, who are pleasant and dull. So armored limo's are kinda not needed. suv_guy_19
Just thought I'd let you know that he got demoted. They have him in a Town Car during the Ontario portion of his visit.
retro-man
The MKS - although I don't find it all that impressive in person - manages a certain amount of gravitas. I'm a sucker for fender flags.
