jcartwright99
Since we have been seeing a decent amount of GT500's testing on the road, do you think it's possible that the give a soft unveil (design and some performance metrics without actual HP/TQ)? Waiting till January seems a bit ridiculous. Like almost every other upcoming Ford model, it should have been out yesterday. We already have a decent idea of what the car will be like based on what has been seen and leaked so far. Supercharged, DCT, active aero, 720-800HP, and most likely 2 models (GT500 and R). Thoughts? SoonerLS
If you're thinking they'll wait 'til NAIAS, they just announced that it's moving to June. Not sure if that starts in '19 or '20, but I somehow doubt they'll wait almost a full year...
Assimilator
The 2019 Show is locked in for January, the 2020 show is scheduled for June 2020. Autoshow unveilings are less common now. Ford is actually spearheading the AutoShow redesign and move to June. The AutoShow organizers are looking at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK which is largely a motorsports festival but they want the same sort of interactive outdoor experience. We'll know more in a few weeks when they have a presentation. Edited July 14, 2018 by Assimilator
