Sevensecondsuv
It looks like it grew. The proportions look very close to the Excursion now.

Assimilator
They are camouflaging the IRS, first time I've seen suspension camo. You can still see the lower trailing arms however which is very similar to the Expedition design. This should make Expedition and Navigator's time in the spotlight fairly short-lived unfortunately, I bet Escalade is going to be a spectacle with their new TTV8. Either way, GM is HUSTLING like nobody else, I haven't seen a Detroit carmaker this busy since the Mullally years. Dlcorbett
Im pretty sure ford is going to start working on the mcr expedition for a 2021 model year release. Either way ford will havr their hands full but i think they can pull it off since they are currently workin on the new f150 at the moment. tbone
Im sure Ford anticipated this response, since GM hasnt had any real competition for a long time in the full size market and they are the top dog. The Expedition is an excellent product, and hopefully they are committed to keeping it that way this time around. What the new Expedition does is give all of those Ford owners a legitimately good full size option, which they used to have to walk across the street to the GM dealer to get. The nice thing is, the next gen F150 is coming around 2020, so the new tech associated with that will subsequently transfer into the Expedition. There will still be some conquest sales from people who are tired of buying the same thing as well. I feel good about the Expeditions trajectory assuming Fords production can support it. Or do a Performance Hybrid Plug-in which in the changing market will fit the market where Lincoln is going.
Assimilator
Ford and Lincoln are getting a Hybrid 3.0TT which is geared toward efficient performance with tons of torque, should be fun!

Maybe-but the market for a full size SUV that doesn't fit in to a standard "suburban garage" isn't that big. The Excursion wouldn't fit in to many garages. So, personally I doubt it will be those dimensions.

Current Suburban 224.4" shorter than Excursion 226.7" Wheelbases respectively....130.0" ....137.1" Edited July 3, 2018 by jpd80
