doitalldave1 Posted April 30, 2018 Share Posted April 30, 2018 I would like to install a descent size 750 watt Punch amp and a single 12" H2 Punch sub in a ported box. Has anyone attempted this with the factory system. If so where to I get the remote signal and input audio for the amp. Do you recommend running like a 4 gauge power wire from battery to amp? fuzzymoomoo Posted April 30, 2018 Share Posted April 30, 2018 I did it on a 2008 Focus. The remote wire I tied into under the steering column. You can find a diagram on the Internet. The power wire I actually fed through the back of the fender and through the front of the door routing it under the door trim to the trunk. No drilling required though when pulling the interior panels you need to be careful not to break any of the pins off to avoid rattling when you put it back together.
