laverel
I have a 2018 F-150 Lariat with the FX4 package which I bought new here in Bolivia. According to the South American order guide: Water Wading Equipment (Mandatory with 55A FX4 Off-Road Pkg.) And also ETIS for my VIN says: Water Wading Equipment - Std The owner's manual doesn't refer to "water wading equipment". What is "water wading equipment" and what would it allow me to do? akirby
Best guess is seals on the differentials and higher mounted diff vents.
laverel
I was kinda thinking the same thing also. I was wondering if it might have the same water fording depth as the Raptor (minus a couple of inches for the smaller tire size). It would be nice to know how far the water could go above the wheel hubs before I needed to start worrying about changing fluids or a more major problem. I believe I've read that Raptors have the same "Water Wading Equipment - Std" statement in their list of Minor Features on ETIS.
