Doctorg23 Posted April 21, 2018 Share Posted April 21, 2018 We finally took delivery of our 2018 BL Navigator! The dealer told us we could put regular fuel in it instead of premium fuel. I've read that premium fuel guarantees maximum engine performance. In other luxury vehicles, I know you may harm the engine or cause "knocking" sounds. Any thoughts on this? Some fuel stations, particularly those in high altitude areas, offer fuels posted as regular unleaded gasoline with an octane rating below 87. For best overall vehicle and engine performance, premium fuel with an octane rating of 91 or higher is recommended.
