silvrsvt
At least it didn't inherit the slightly terrible grill opening of the 2018.
rmc523
At least it didn't inherit the slightly terrible grill opening of the 2018. I find it interesting that it and the GT350 (and the Raptor for that matter) retain the 2017 headlights. It does appear that GT500 will get the 2018 taillights, though. coupe3w
It's just a mule this isn't really what it will look like. I get a kick out of people saying they like this or don't like that on a test mule.

Doesn't mean the front fascia, headlight, tail lights, rocker panels, hood, deck lid etc can't change though does it?

What you see there is whats making production Edited April 13, 2018 by fuzzymoomoo

There was a teaser video that showed details just like what's seen on this prototype.
coupe3w
This far into development, no. Also, I know someone who worked on it. What you see there is whats making production Look at the 18th picture of the link that shows a close up of the rocker panel. There are some type of mounting pads or something just hanging out in space. The final parts are not on this car.
fuzzymoomoo
It looks like pieces of the camo sticker peeling off to me

coupe3w
Could be I guess. That "sticker" is really thick on the rocker and front fender.
blksn8k2
Probably drug the rockers on a parking lot speed bump. Kinda surprised there is no rear wing/spoiler but the rear diffuser does look interesting. Edited April 16, 2018 by blksn8k2

Fordowner
At least it didn't inherit the slightly terrible grill opening of the 2018. I also like the grill opening better. Hope it makes its way to the other Mustangs whose grill openings seem too large. The current Mustang's front sometimes reminds me of Darth Vader. This one kind of looks like the 2014 front. Fordowner
Ford's stated that Darth Vader was the design inspiration. Oh yea, I forgot about that. Guess I'm just more or a Star Trek person......
