ice-capades
I have to give Chevy credit for refreshing the models with visible changes to keep them competitive in the shrinking car market.
Assimilator
I guess I need to see these on the road, right now the Malibu looks pretty awful. Edited April 6, 2018 by Assimilator
Fordowner
Yea the malibu looks like an ugly KIA or Hyundai (not sure which as I get the two brands confused). I can't really tell the difference on the Cruz.
ice-capades
I guess I need to see these on the road, right now the Malibu looks pretty awful. The point isn't whether you like the changes, it's about the fact that they're making visible changes to keep their cars looking fresh even though the car market is shrinking and becoming even more competitive. Ford all too often just does very little (rotary shift knob) or nothing that anyone will notice regarding the exterior design and just let the vehicle sales die off while the competition continues to refresh and/or redesign their models to keep them fresh and competitive. Now look at the messages that Ford has been putting out the past few months including the recent auto shows. Ford Media's big push has been for the updated 2019 Transit Connect, a vehicle that hasn't even started scheduling production yet and Dealers won't see for 6 months. They finally are talking about the Ranger but we won't see it for another year. The media reports that Ford has little or nothing new to unveil at the auto shows and won't have much new until the 2020 Model Year which is an eternity. Sorry, I forgot to include the 2019 Mustang Bullitt which will be a great vehicle to those few thousand buyers that want a Bullitt and willing to pay the price!
