Konik and Quarab are breeds of horses, so it would match the names Bronco and Mustang. How's that?

It's going to be called Ford Maverick, a name they've used previously for small SUVs globally.  They've recently secured the Trademark as well.

In South America, that name wouldn't be a good choice. Here the name "Maverick" is extremely respected and tied to the V8 coupe of the 1970s, which has thousands of fans. To give that name to a compact SUV, as Mit named the new Eclipse Cross, is to make the car hateful simply by not following the tradition of the name Maverick. An entirely new name would be better not to carry the responsibility of the past, nor to disrespect a model as historic as Maverick. We need a new name for the new 2020 era.

I actually kind of like Konik. It has a nice ring to it for a small Ute.

I think Maverick would be a really good name...except, it would break from tradition of naming all Ford SUV's with nameplates beginning with the letter "E".

But, then again, we are talking about Bronco....

at least Bronco already has a legacy to it and is remembered fondly so it makes sense.

Nope.  They'll pull the old Bronco II name out of the dustbin.  :stirpot:
