2017 SHO lease

Very pleased with our SHO. 25 MPG. Quick and sure footed. $8,750 incentives. Best bargain around if you want the driver safety package (auto cruise gap maintenance, lane departure, parking assist) and AWD. Not a fan of 20 wheels but replacing tires will be up to the next owner.

I'm planning on leasing a SHO in August when my current lease (Jeep Grand Cherokee) expires. Prices and incentives look great and I expect dealerships will be wanting to unload the 2018s in Aug.

This time I'm not just going to the local Ford dealer, but going to search over a 500 mile radius to find what I want.

Thinking about the white.

One reason I'm going with a Sedan is because I regularly transport my elderly parents so I need decent-sized back seating area.

But those rims. Why Ford? Well I might try to negotiate a wheel swap, or maybe I'll warm up to the design. Doubt it though

If you are looking for back seat space, get a Fusion. The back seat is nearly the same size, maybe even slightly larger, and the lease deals are way better than the Taurus. You will get better mpg too.

I'm going to check out the Fusion again at Carmax. Seems to me I recall that the shoulder an head room was tight (I'm pretty tall). I'm interested in the performance of the SHO with the ecoboost turbo and AWD. I agree the car is probably a flying cinder block compared to other sports sedans out there but the price is right, and I'm just leasing and not buying it. I leased a 2013 BMW 335i with the turbo and got spoiled about lots of torque. That car though is 50k + Always open to suggestions. I'm also looking at the Chevy Impala but it's performance isn't super. Good looking car. Always open to suggestions but my cap is 35k

If the Fusion does work out for you, there is the Sport model which has the 2.7 ecoboost and AWD.

I'm aware of the sports trim on the Fusion with the 2.7. ecoboost. I may end up going for it if I can fit comfortably. Leg room up front is a priority because my dad is also tall with long legs.

Either way, what attracted me to Ford sedans is the ecoboost motors. And since I'm leasing who cares if they are going bye bye

Haven't driven either one yet. Thanks so much for your input.

Boy you're right about that. The Fusion's space in the backseat seemed a little larger. Lot's of headroom upfront too. The seats are lower to the ground than the Taurus which makes it harder for me to get in and out of, but I'm going back to the Ford dealership to give the Fusion a test drive. They don't have a Sport but they're easy enough to find elsewhere.

I drove a fairly loaded V6 Taurus and it is very comfortable and has that "big car" feel to it which I like. The interior is nice and upscale and it rides quiet, but it feels rather slow and sluggish. Sort of meh. This dealership just got a SHO off the truck which wasn't prepped to be driven yet so I'll be going back to try it. Problem is it's black which I don't prefer but it's a pretty sweet looking.

If I can be comfortable in the Fusion I'll lease it.
