Debadging a 2018 Mustang?

First, let me say I’m glad to be part of this group. Since I’m a new member, I’ll apologize in advance if this topic has been covered already. A bit of background - I use to have a red 1987 Mustang LX 5.0 5-speed that was one of the original test cars for Trickflow Specialties back in the late 80’s. They developed their EFI intake manifold on my car. We went through 3 different versions, and we used a mass-air DFI control system with it. Had a old 8088 “laptop” with 5 ¼” floppies to program it!

I’ve ordered a 2018 Mustang GT Premium Fastback that is due to be built in a few more weeks. My question revolves around getting a factory debadged car. I have nothing against the current badging on the Mustang, but for me, I want as clean of a look as possible. I’ve always loved sleepers. I’ve had the debadging idea for a long time, way before the current Bullitt configuration showed up. I didn’t want a Bullitt anyhow. Ideally, I’d love to eliminate the GT logo on the rear fascia, and I definitely don’t want 5.0 badges at all. The rear logo is an easy fix with a factory aftermarket piece available, but the 5.0 badges appear to be a different issue. It’s my understanding small alignment holes are drilled into the fenders - is that correct? Is there anyway to get either them not installed to begin with, or just have them installed with the adhesive only? I’d have my dealer remove them when it arrives anyhow. I wish there was a delete code available similar to the spoiler delete.

I realize production limitations may make this a dream, but I wanted to check with the vast expertise on this forum to see if there is a way to make it happen. I truly appreciate the help.

Thanks.

Thank you folks, that's what I thought would be the situation. Absolutely no complaints at all. Can't wait for it! Old fart disease is dictating the 10-speed, but I'm so looking forward to it. Went Crimson, PP1 w/the nickel wheels, MagneRide, active exhaust, and other good bits.

Hey now...with the color choice, you can join the Red Mustang Registry....

A kit was made for the 12-13 Bosses dealing with the faux gas cap. All of them have the same emblem as a six cylinder version except Laguna Seca models. Several have changed to one that says "Boss 302", can get in any color combo. I like mine fine as is but would imagine the same type of change is available for the newer models also.

Can't say with the fender badges, may be stick on these days. Something has to drill holes for "5.0" as its not used for the 6's or other. The deck spoilers have used tape but are bolted down also. Delete a good option, too many have gone wild with those and front air damns. For track OK but just to look the part naw, not for me either that's "Ricer territory".
