Pioneer
. It was donated to and sold for charity. Seems Ford knows and authorized it. To sweeten the pot, Ford is also including a Ford Performance Racing School GT Experience with the sale of the Ford GT. This world-class program will give the winning bidder the chance to improve their driving skills behind the wheel of one of the world’s most celebrated supercars. blwnsmoke
Yes, 100% charity, Ford was actually present there. Raj Nair was actually there at the auction up on stage.

Bob Rosadini
Any clue as to who the guy was? They showed him after he won but of course no comment on who he is. Always amazes me as to the guys that are winners on more than one car. Biggest annoyance of B-Jax? The commercial breaks-and the cars they miss during those long breaks. Best way is to also have it up online. You don't get the commentators-in some cases that is good- but you get the constant chatter of the auctioneer and you don't miss anything. blwnsmoke
I have the auction recorded. I will look later, she said his name a few times. Looked like he was in his 70s-80s.

At some points, they were showing the commercial on the left side of the screen, while the auction was going on on the right side (sans commentary, of course, to hear the commercial). That seemed like a great way to show it.

Agree-but not always-in particular there were some very significant Fords that were on the block during the commercial breaks
blwnsmoke
Was looking at the wrong guy when I said 70s-80s. Bob Rosadini
Was looking at the wrong guy when I said 70s-80s. Ron Pratte https://www.therichest.com/celebnetworth/celebrity-business/men/ron-pratte-net-worth/ When I read .."70's-80's" I thought looks a lot younger than that gray hair but I would have guessed 50-60. He had a black shirt on. I think its that guy in the picture on your posting-the middle shot. I don't think that guy is Ron Pratte-wasn't he on the stage at one point? blwnsmoke
I think it is the guy with the blue jacket in the middle. I had originally thought it was the older guy in the white shirt towards the left. The blue jacket seems to match the link I posted.
