No job losses. Have bumping rights in the same unit. Just like local 600. They are adding jobs at Toledo North.

Couple issue here is retire or transfer to Detroit. Ok good choice. Lol. Still the job losses are same. Even tho none will actually lose their job. Those 90 plus jobs wont be there anymore.
I guess the 700+ jobs being added for the Jeep pickup mean nothing then.

"Later in August 2017, King, a senior UAW official responsible for negotiating and administering the national collective bargaining agreements with FCA on behalf of tens of thousands of UAW members, and a member of the UAW's National Negotiating Committees in 2011 and 2015, pled guilty to conspiring to take and receive money and things of value from persons acting in FCA's interest, including Iacobelli and Durden. King's sentencing has been set for June 4, 2018."
Its hush money. I throw you a bone and you stfu !

Here is a link for the article referenced above regarding UAW corruption.
Now you know why we haven't had a raise in our retirement's "Life Income Benefit" in over 15 years or so, only get two raises per contract, still haven't regained cost of living, shit for xmas bonus, screws put to the retiree's insurance, no raises for retirees anymore, wages about $5 less than what they should be, etc.
"UAW officials, including President Dennis Williams, have contended that the alleged activities could not have impacted negotiations, as union members have the final vote on the contracts, which are bargained between dozens, if not hundreds, of individuals."
Well FCA was the first plant to negotiate the last contract and the other companies followed suit based on FCA's; and how many times have you heard people say "I guess this is the best they can do" and vote yes.

im not sure as to the plant u are referring to. (fca agreement was different from ford, (i read both))
as far as corruption its everywhere from normal ppl to corporations and more, why do u just care about one facet of it?
we are better with a union then without. im all about reforming it but getting rid of it isnt good for us. still humans will be corrupt

Dennis remembers the slap in the face by the FCA membership when they voted that thing down, the first time around. Now Dennis forgets who was lead in negotiations? FCA went first because Dennis wanted to get them out of the way and gave the reason that FCA was not in a position to pattern their contract as with the contracts of FORD or GM, remember Dennis.
Sounds like some form of helping FCA... With the general`s stash already in place and I`m sure no one in the IUAW but the general know of the stash, but a deal with the general is a deal with the IUAW. So that makes it a little clearer why the lets help FCA was being pushed?
Stop and think about pattern bargaining, Then stop and think about a strike fund that gives up so much of our dues to be used to organize...?, yep another way to pay millions to do what? For?
Really What? But, just stop and think about all the concessions we the membership have given back to the IUAW partners? Did the IUAW go without raises the same years we did? Has the IUAW gone to co pay after co pay increase as our retired members have? Do the IUAW get the same VEBA when they retire as we do? What kind of monthly benefit is the IUAW getting from "US" as a retirement benefit?
Oh but don`t ask those questions because like me you will automatically labeled anti union. I like what was posted earlier... "Restructure" sisters and brothers that is our only hope.
Ford let it slip out with their 8 billion dollar plus whimpers that they have $26,000,000,000.00 plus cash on hand for any down turn. (hmmm when is the contract up) (who will be sitting across the table from Ford, counting their cash on hand?) Can anyone think who helped Ford stay in business....?
