DavesEdge Posted December 26, 2017 Share Posted December 26, 2017 Hi All Having just found out that my registration has been activated, I would just like to start by saying Merry Xmas, Happy New Year. Just over a year ago I purchased an Edge Titanium with Lux Pack option. Have had a fair few issues with car until it went in for some warranty work (oil leak from rear diff (basically)). I think that whilst it was in, the on board computer system was reset, thereby correcting most of my issues. I will be taking it back again soon for more warranty work, but was wondering what your thoughts are on this car over the pond, as in good, bad or indifferent? The biggest gripe of mine at the moment is the sat nav, telling me to take the sixth exit at a roundabout (there was only three exits on the whole roundabout, lol). Also telling me to take the third exit off another roundabout (this was a 'T' junction, what ever next I wonder). akirby Posted December 26, 2017 Share Posted December 26, 2017 Welcome Dave. There is a dedicated Edge forum at fordedgeforum.com with lots of edge specific information - please join us over there. The sync 3 nav maps are not the most up to date here in North America - I presume it’s the same in the UK. Sometimes it thinks there are turns where there aren’t any but it seems to work fine for the most part. But, having registered, I am having great difficulty, in that I am not receiving the validation email to my email address. I noticed that you are a Moderator on this forum, so was wondering if you knew who to contact, if not yourself, to help me out with this problem. I have tried three times so far to no avail. DavesEdge Posted December 28, 2017 Author Share Posted December 28, 2017 Hi Akirby Yes, I checked all folders in my email, just incase it had thrown a wobbly and put it somewhere else, but was not anywhere to be seen. I have just re-checked again, still no sign of it. My email is davelynmm@hotmail.com I managed to get to view my input details on my profile, not too sure how I managed this as said error unable to view, due to email security check unprocessed.
