blockisle9
So the heating portion of the seats seam to work fine. The cooling portion, not so much. Is the heat delivered by air or heating elements? I hear a blower come on when I use cooling but not with heat even though they get warm. It's been mentioned that the cooling sucks on the 2017 and there might be a TSB, does anyone know the number? Now that it's cold out I won't need cooling till the spring. I just want to be prepared for the warm weather. (It can't come soon enough!) Thanks Lenny
akirby
They use a peltier device and a blower fan in the seat bottoms and backs to cool or heat. The heat works fine but the seat back doesn’t exhaust the hot air properly so it doesn’t cool very well, even after the TSB is applied. Someone on the F150 forum 3D printed some new ducts that supposedly work better than the OEM if you want to replace them yourself. akirby
I figured you did. My big pet peeve is not spelling errors (unless it's every other word) - it's when someone uses a completely different word such as "breaks" instead of "brakes".
