Woofer-01
I own a 2005 Crown Vic LX Sport and want to replace my 17" 5-spoke Aluminum Wheels. The after wheel market is a bit tricky so I am looking for some info. The Correct Ford Part Number would be helpful. There was a Ford Service Bulletin out several years back about counterfeit wheels. Does anyone have a pdf copy? Specs are different between 200-2001 wheels and the 2003+ wheels While the rims appear the same, there is a difference in the offset and backspacing. Offset Backspacing 2001 - 2002 6mm|1/4" 82.9mm|3-1/4" 2003+ 45mm|1-3/4" 133.4mm|5-1/4" The other rim specifications are the same Bolt Pattern 114.3mm / 4-1/2" x 5 Diameter 17" Width 7" Center Bore 70.5mm / 2-3/4" Any info and advice would be useful. wchain
My 11 LX Came from the northern states and the wheels were a little pitted, so I had them refinished locally. Look brand new when they were done. All 03+ Wheels should fit your vic. 98-02 will fit but will stick out and look goofy.
