Why Did Brad Kezelowski Choose Outside Lane

Okay, it is what it is...but I just don't understand why Brad's team chose the outside lane with only 3 laps left in yesterday's race. It cost him the win. Even the morning sports writers were puzzled on that choice. It took only a half lap for Elliott to slide him out of the way.

More importantly, when Brad had a second and a half lead on the field with just 10 laps to go. Kyle Busch hit Joey Lagano and Joey's tire was rubbing why didn't Joey go to the pits to prevent a caution? The team had to know with a tire rubbing that bad he was going to get a flat and bring out the caution. Brad would have won that race easily.

Totally agree. Penske blew two opportunities to win....Not calling Joey in and picking the outside lane with 3 laps to go. I doubt they will have an another opportunity like that, especially with the final races a definite Truex/Busch advantage. However, miracles do happen.

Yep. As soon as Kyle hit Joey I knew Brad was not going to win.

No,no, Kyle didn't hit Joey....all the 'Race Day Commentators' said they simply "got together!"...and Joey got the worse of it. Right? After all, why would Kyle deliberately

plow into somebody to bring out a caution with only a few laps to go and Brad pulling away to an eventual victory and free pass to the next round. It just doesn't make sense!

Congratulations to Harvick. The way he ran down that Truex Toyota was incredible. HOWEVER, Kyle Busch is a disgusting sniper. I watched how he DELIBERATELY slid up and into Brad on the first lap and took him out. Busch had nothing to lose other than taking Brad out of contention! Remember, he announced how he had "payback coming to Brad" and then he did what he said on the very first lap.

First congratulations to Kevin. Luckily Kyle got the worst of it. Brad was able to fight back for a good finish. I hope Joey grows some and takes Kyle out at Phoenix that would be something.

Remember, it's not Phoenix that a dnf would affect this scoundrel.....it's Miami!

I was listening to the NASCAR channel on Sirius today and now Truex is blaming Bane for holding him up so that Harvick could catch him. NASCAR is supposedly planning a rule change to prevent that from happening in the future. Seriously? Funny how Truex couldn't keep up once Harvick made the pass....all of a sudden the 78 doesn't look so invincible anymore.

Trever Bayne is hot garbage

Maybe, but I got his autograph at the APEX/SEMA show in Vegas the same year he won the Daytona 500.

He and Bobby Tasca were doing the road course simulator at the Motorcaft display. Tasca hit the guardrail and when his car started flipping end over end he yelled "Where's the parachute?!"

Trevor was running for position like all the other drivers. Truex is a whiner like hothead Kyle. I recall Kyle Busch knocking Truex out for the win a few weeks ago and Truex was quiet like a church mouse after the race. He's a Toyota man. You don't bad mouth other Toyotas. I lost respect for Petty and Jarrett with their usual comments after most recent races. They ridiculed Kezelowski about his view on the Toyota advantage on the 1.5 mile tracks. They ignored the obvious Kyle Busch hit to take Brad out on the very first lap. Please, anyone with insight knows Busch had nothing to lose and slid up to remove a key competitor. I respect Brad for keeping composure and not let Busch (who called Brad a Moron....and how he owes him retaliation) drop him out of the final four.

The last 2 races will be tough ,since Toyota does dominate on these tracks. Harvick was the only Ford to overcome the 3 Toyotas that followed him. I hope Brad gets in to the final four....but like Harvick said....if he didn't win the championship, he hoped another Ford would. The odds favor Truex/Busch....but anything can happen. Go Ford!

The Ace in the hole is Joey Lagano. He can take Kyle out at will.

Interesting how everything you hear is about Earnhardt Jr and his retirement...and his great career...and his new wife...and his baby girl.....and his fans....and his many commercials....and ,of course, his liberal political views on government. Ugh!

Then we see Matt Kenseth....well, really not see or hear much compared to goober....and his retirement this year. Maybe, if it was Kenseth Jr...and his daddy was successful before him.....maybe he would be more talked about! Either way, I just hope it's all over in Two weeks. Then again, expect JR to stick his head up next season.....probably join the NASCAR Oligarchs with France on ways to improve racing. Say it isn't so!

I think Jr already has a broadcasting gig lined up with NBC next year.

Kenseth being from Wisconsin never really caught on with the Southern redneck fans.
