Ford/NFL Protest

Absolutely, Ford should allow you to take a knee to protest. They should also have safe places for employees to go to when their supervisor berates them for making a mistake, such as leaving a part off, being late from break, etc. We as Ford employees, like the Ford owned Lions, feel oppressed and see the inequality with things like AWS, mandatory overtime, and reduced benefits. How about it brothers and sisters, who with me?

Ford is dumb. They should not be taking any political position.

Whether they agree or disagree, silence is less likely to offend customers.

I'm with you. Why did they even feel the need to say anything at all. You know what they say, don't offer up any information unless asked. Also, their biggest seller is the F series and look at who buys these trucks.

Great, Ford stock is already in the tank, Now every radio station is basically saying people should not buy Ford products. I bet all the military vets who work for Ford are really proud of their stand. This could hurt worse than Firestone, Thanks for standing with 90% of Americans, I hope the board of directors does something to lessen the damage. No more NFL for me.

One of the main culprits is Martha Firestone and her big hatred towards our president. She couldn't care less how her negative comments could affect our sales. She sits in her mansion and is financially comfortable because of her name! Hopelessly confused and close minded!

Hey Redwing, you have been watching and listening to much of the mainstream media. The media is now trying to divide this country. Facts show shootings of AA are way down. With camera phones and social media everything is put on the internet.Everything I have ever seen or heard, the suspect never obeys the command of the officer. If they would have they would be alive today. The problem is there is no respect for authority. Whether that be the police, teachers, and even their own parents. I believe most people are against the mistreatment of people. I wish I could say all people.

I guess all you guys are for the mistreatment of African Americans by police. Real nice stance to have.

And I guess you are casting every law enforcement officer as a racist POS. Perhaps you should do your own research into the statistics before you do that. Better yet, why dont you look into doing a ride along with a PD to see what its really like to work the streets. You have no idea what these men and women do on a daily basis, nor how professional they are in very challenging situations, which didnt just start because of all the cameras.

Don't try to convince him. He's clearly made up his mind that we are all a bunch of racist assholes. You can't change the mind of someone like that no matter how much facts you throw at them.

If a person wants to protest an injustice they can grab a sign and stand on a street corner like everybody else. Protesting and taking a knee during the National Anthem are two different things. Standing for the National Anthem doesn't make me a cheerleader for "mistreatment/oppression" it only means that I choose a different more productive avenue to pursue for any protest that I may have.

This will all pass over shortly as it has now started to affect their ratings and the pocketbooks will follow!
