rmc523
Is Ford going to start producing tractors again? Hmm.....well does that count as "mobility?" That seems to be all anyone cares about these days... Edited September 18, 2017 by rmc523

Sure, it's gets you from point A to point B, maybe just a little slower. And don't forget about autonomous vehicles. The big names in tractors have some pretty impressive autonomous abilities with their machines.
bzcat
Sounds like Ford wants to work with Mahindra to tap into its dealer/distribution network in India. May not be a bad idea. Ford only has adequate distribution in some large India cities.
SoonerLS
There are/were rumors of Fiat trying to sell off CNH; I kind of wish Ford would get in on that (to get what's left of Ford/New Holland back under Ford). Unfortunately, that would put them in competition with Mahindra, which probably wouldn't help them nearly as much as partnering with them to attempt cracking the nut in India. Fiat did "unlock the value" of CNH like they did with Ferrari. Exor is a large shareholder, but other than that it is a separate stock from the rest of FCA.
