Cbrown42 Posted September 18, 2017 Share Posted September 18, 2017 Installed an LED brake/turn/tail light bar under the tailgate of my F250. It came with a flat 4-pin connector; I spliced it into the trailer connector wiring behind the bumper so I can still use the 4-pin connector. Question: is there a way to reset the trailer connected setting so the truck doesn't think there is a trailer hooked up? I assume the system detects a change in current draw to detect a trailer- not sure if there is a way to "re-zero". Thanks in advance for any help.
