silvrsvt
When I was going into work today, I noticed a grinding noise coming from the front passenger side wheel when coming to a stop. It doesn't grind when the brake applied...only when the car just comes to a stop (5-10 mph or less) and sometimes it seems like it's grinding just as I let off the brake..like maybe the caliper isn't fully disengaging. Any suggestions? I can't pull the tire till tomorrow to see if there is anything in the caliper itself causing it, but it didn't do it yesterday when I moved the car in for a oil change. fordmantpw
Our Flex is horrible at getting rocks stuck between the brake rotor and the shield. Makes a horrible grinding noise at slow speeds. My guess is that is the problem. Fairly easy fix assuming you can see the rock.
J-150
Maybe it's the bearing, and you only hear/feel it at that speed.
silvrsvt
I'm a fucking idiot...the bottom engine shield popped off (the back screws came undone) from me doing the oik change and was dragging...thats why I didn't hear it over 15 MPH. Easy fix though
