Fgts
Up 7.5%. Looks like Cruze, Impala and Malibu are stars of the show on the car side, CUVs are the hottest and big truck/SUVs are a little flat. http://www.gm.com/mol/m-2017-sep-0901-gmsales.html
jpd80
Silverado and Sierra combined are still up over 71,000 but no match for F Series' 77,000 Where GM is really strong is it's multi channel Utility sales and its easy to see how it skips away with 73K-74K more sales than Ford. Interesting that Cruze and malibu sales have recovered a little but with that Trax is still over 8,000 sales and Equinox had a good month with 28,000 sales as did Traverse with 11,000 sales. Tahoe, +Suburban + Yucon (Denalis) + Escalase all adds up to sensational profit form what is virtually the full sized SUV equivalent of another truck line, I look at that and think what could be for Ford if they had shown half as much inclination to go after those buyers. Also, 2,100 Bolt EVs, sales are coming, they just need to broaden availability through the dealer network, I suspect that it could be a magnet for walk-ins who are ready to buy immediately..
