Crooked Chrysler and UAW Scandal

And people hammered me 2 years ago when I said I didn't trust them....

Not the old long hair.

Ford would never negotiate by throwing Jimmy a bone? Can anyone remember his "its the best you are going to get" "we did the best we could under these conditions" and the best one "you should just be thankful to have a job" statements.

Then there are the pay checks for sitting on the VEBA, John Deer, Fiat, CAT, Blue Cross... etc. executive boards as consultants. What about Ford paying the UAW to sent people hourly and salaried to Black Lake to learn versatility...? How many times did CAP send people for that one?

The FBI wont stop with just FCA. The UAW has given the FBI and DoL all the nails needed with one statement stated by the former president "If you don`t stop doing that you could go to jail". King knew and did nothing but say stop it? How much juice or how many consulting checks is Bobby pulling in?

Ford pays for all the those training sections at the UAW/Ford training center and the membership pays all the lost time. Hmmm Dennis, the membership didn`t loose any dues? This happens at all big three training centers.

This is just another step to the end of the labor movement. If history teaches us anything this has and will go on till their caught. Who always pays the price? Oh, a few may go to a federal day care center but the members pay everyday with their dues and working under these contracts for sold out conditions.

Then today 50,000 jobs in an air conditioned warehouse at 12 to 15 dollars and hour, insurance benefits for dependents, and paid time off after 6 months. Or 16 bucks to sweat your ass off doing 15 to 20 more units an hour than the contract states, all that bullshit talk about family time on a AWS (10.7 or 11.5 any time the orders demand it) dependent insurance when? Might be a labor shortage for the big three if we see these bullshit tiers stay in place. Not to mention the weird trades scheduling and incidental work and oh yeah the helper thing...

What am I saying, we all should be thankful for our jobs and for all that hard work negotiating these great contracts.

What are the working conditions at the Nissan Plant? What is the pay like? How does management treat the workers?I dont know first-hand but obviously the majority of the workers at Nissan/Mississippi are satisfied.Hate to say it but the longer the UAW is in power the more "deals" they make with the company to enrich themselves.Basically you end up with 3 types of people 1-salary 2-hourly and 3-union/elected and professional.I work in a place where I must put in 7 12 hour days, split into two weeks so the weekend is mandatory as well. The bathrooms are right out of a third world prison where you are lucky if you get a flush from the urinal {stand in piss to piss}and bugers on the walls have more seniority than me.Best I can figure is if I dont want my holiday pay screwed up and the holiday falls in my work schedule then I work it.I may have to use a vacation day to stay home on Easter or Christmas. The contract and discipline is arbitrarily and capriciously enforced by management so you better "kiss up".I would vote for a union!
