blksn8k2
SHR seems to be on a bit of a roll. Stenhouse qualified 4th ahead of both Keselowski and Lagano. Didn't see that one coming either. Four Fords in the top six. Cool. http://performance.ford.com/series/stock-car-racing/news/articles/stock-car-racing/2017/03/harvick-lands-fusion-on-pole-at-atlanta.html
blksn8k2
I was a little surprised to hear that Harvick's car for tomorrow's race is a re-skinned car from last year. I thought they were building their own chassis now. I guess it makes sense to use up as much of the old stuff as they can but I assume that also means it is basically a Hendrick chassis with a Ford engine and body. That combination obviously works but I doubt that’s what Hendrick had in mind. The results could be a little different once they start building everything in house. coupe3w
Great win for Penske. And Roush still struggling 12th and 13th. Harvick had the field covered hands down and just blew it in the final pit stop. Edited March 6, 2017 by coupe3w
blksn8k2
It was good to see another Ford win but Harvick getting that speeding penalty on pit road really sucked. The good news is that he came away with the points lead even without having a race win yet. The Dale Jr fans should be crying up a storm about now. If this continues they will be demanding whatever rule changes that would give the Heir Unapparent a chance. Next they will be wanting the "Most Popular Driver" award to also pick the season champ. bdegrand
Great victory for newlywed Brad. Harvick had the dominant car. My question was the continuous bombardment of the same nauseating Chevy Truck month commercial with the clown hugging the bumper which they ran all last month as February Chevy Truck month....now they run those same commercials in March as Chevy Truck month! It's insanity!

coupe3w
sounds like a child predator I know. I was thinking he was a pervert of some type, down on his knees and hugging the bumper.
blksn8k2
At least they're not harping on aluminum beds.
bdegrand
At least they're not harping on aluminum beds. Agreed...but maybe the reason they are backing off from 'bear cages' and 'aluminum beds' is because they are going to follow the leader and eventually go from steel to aluminum? Already heard a Chevy spokesman say their future aluminum truck would have a much more efficient process with improved technology. Prepare for the "our aluminum is better than your aluminum truck attacks!"

Already heard a Chevy spokesman say their future aluminum truck would have a much more efficient process with improved technology. Prepare for the "our aluminum is better than your aluminum truck attacks!" I think they also discontinued them because they weren't working. I love that Ford lampooned them in their latest ad by spelling out 40 in the truck bed using landscape blocks (for 40 years being the sales leader) with a footnote (optional bedliner shown). That totally backfired on them.
