Dorth8
I've been reading about other newer Escapes having this problem. We have a 2004, and recently have been feeling a vibration that seems to be coming from the front right side. First noticed while making a right-hand turn a slight vibration that would go away upon accelerating. No vibration at the higher speeds. Now starting to notice when first starting out, goes away at the higher acceleration speeds and seems to be vibrating more. Yesterday noticed a clunking in the upper right while curving to the right at slower speeds on a hill. Suggestions on where to have the mechanic look? Donaldo
Ball joints, end links, and bushings are often replaced along with the front struts themselves.
09escape
Could be a front Sway Bar Link, bad bearing or even a bad CV joint etc. It could even be loose wheel nuts. Hard to tell from the description. Most mechanics should have no problem diagnosing your problem.
