As most are aware, the Mustang changeover has been in the February-April period for a number of years ago. About a month ago I met with our Ford Zone Manager and asked her if she had any information on the changeover timetable to the 2018MY Mustang. At that time, she informed me that the 2018MY Mustang Job #1 Date was set for 04/28/2017. Ford still hadn't published the changeover schedule so when I met with our new Ford Zone Manager a few days ago I asked again, especially as Ford's been saying publicly that the 2018MY Mustang will be available in the Fall. The new Ford rep told me that the changeover will be in September which is very disappointing as it means we won't see the new models until November at least which is really outside the biggest part of the selling season for Mustang. Perhaps someone from the Flat Rock plant has more information.

BORG in another thread said production starts in June. I'll ask some of my friends at FRAP if they've heard anything.

Got a response, nothing is official yet.

I love that on the list of new exterior and interior colors there are names like 'Showstopper Red', 'Orange Fury', 'Kona Blue', 'Royal Crimson'...and then there's... 'tan'

At least they aren't trying to make tan sound more exciting than it really is. :)
