morganstein
About once a week +/- my car refuses to lock or unlock at the car for two or three cycles. I am forced to use the key fob. I complained twice at the dealership with no help. Since the problem is intermittent, they have not been able to duplicate the problem. I specifically asked them to check with corporate on the problem. I have not received any feedback. When I asked to contact the Ford rep they told me to call the 800 number. That is service? Has anybody else experienced this problem? Thanks, Les
akirby
Are you talking about the Intelligent Access (touch to unlock or lock)? When it happens try all 4 door handles and the trunk. That will help determine if it's the fob or the door handle or the antenna/receiver.
murphy62
How old are the batteries in the fob?
morganstein
The fob works fine. It's the touch to lock on all doors that fails.
akirby
If the Intelligent Access fails on all doors with both fobs at the same time then that rules out the fobs or the antennas on each side or the door handle. It's probably the body control module. Any other battery issues (slow crank, etc.)?
