usa_dfndr Posted December 21, 2016 Share Posted December 21, 2016 Any thoughts on burnt / melted relay to A/C and need for dealer to replace entire compressor to on a 2017 F-450 Platinum with 991 miles on it? 2-weeks in shop out of 4-weeks ownership after delivery! 1st time was six days (with a Sunday in the middle)..."could not duplicate(CND)"/"got it down to '47-degrees' ". Sounds like a Lemmon in the Making to me. Should I be concerned with whatever panel/chips were in proximity of A/C control relay needing to be replaced too??? If so, then vehicles aren't for you.. maybe a bike.. but then again chains do fall off when pedaling. Yes, sarcasm but why is it when someone has an issue, it is all of sudden a lemon or pos? 800,000 F series this year times how many wires, electronics, computers, modules etc?? One here and there is expected to have a failure. Sheesh.. be frustrated but stop overreacting.
