New cars and trucks are increasingly using radar based devices in mirrors, lights, fenders that set off radar detectors, the same bands that the highway patrol uses. Guess I need to buy a new advanced radar detector that drops the signal when someone is driving near me with these active radar devices. Anyone have any products suggestions?

I can tell you the Valentine One does a good job of reducing these interfering false signals.  I was getting a lot of false alarms and then update the software in the V1 and made a huge difference.

Any municipality "serious" about catching speeders use laser based speed detector.  You can drive faster than the speed of light !
