Parshald
We went into the movies and locked the car 2010 MKS during the show there was a thunder storm. When we came out all the windows were down and the moon roof was popped up (not retracted). Obviously the inside of car was soaked! Has this ever happened to anyone else it is kind of nuts to think a close lightning strike could do this but I have no other explanation. Has anyone ever experienced anything similar? Thanks
fusionff
You probably activated the Global Open feature with your remote. See the video below.
MKX1960
This happened to me when I had an 07 MKX. One morning at work before daylight, I locked the car and went in. One of the guys came down later and asked me if I knew my windows were all open. I went and checked. All were open about half way and the roof popped up. This is how I discovered Global opening. Apparently, I hit the wrong button to lock the car in the darkness and triggered Global open instead.
fordtech1
Definitely global opening function. If it turns out to be a reoccurring issue. The dealer can deactivate the feature with the ids. I had one customer that had it happen several times. So we turned it off.
