deere4520
I have a 2012 F250 that the air flow out the vents does not flow much. I have been told there is no in cab filter. Currently it is at Ford dealership getting this worked on. They have told me that it will be about 1500.00 to fix this. They have to pull the dash out to do this. Is this normal? The truck only has 23000 miles on it.
akirby
What exactly do they have to replace? It's usually either the filter or the blower itself which is only about $60 and takes 5 minutes to change.
fordtech1
Unfortunately in extremely dusty areas and not using the ac on recirculation, the evaporator clogges up with dirt. There is not any filter system which is a bad idea on Ford's part.
deere4520
Today is day 4 and I hope they finish it. To bad they don't have a in-cab filter. Dealer told me this isn't the first SD they have had to do this on.
