BORG
https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/auto/2017-land-rover-discovery/preview/ Hmm looks a lot like he Explorer LOL I think Explorer is the one doing the 'look alike' game with Land Rover, at least they have some fresh inspiration. It is an awesome design, those crisp lines, flush glass, and proportions are uniquely upscale. LR also has some my favorite luxury interior designs. jpd80
It's definitely more rounded than the older model but still retains that Chunkiness in styling some people like. I think that's the main differentiator between it and the Navigator which looks even more rounder / softer... Don't know if I explained that right... BORG
Although I like the Navigator's smooth surfacing and simple lines, it's just too basic and 'thin' to be admired. It's like a custom panel van. Edited September 29, 2016 by BORG
silvrsvt
I think Explorer is the one doing the 'look alike' game with Land Rover, at least they have some fresh inspiration. Well the Explorer has been out for quite a while now, and while I admit that the refresh does ape the LR gril...that doesn't mean that LR has do something that looks nearly identical to another product on the market already. LR stole the wrap around glass on the C pillar that Ford has been using for over 20 years now.
Anthony
Looks like it should be a Saab.
PREMiERdrum
The LR and Explorer styling similarities are not coincidental. We've been over this... ?
tbone
Although I really like the current Land Rover style there's something about the rear quarter of the Discovery I'm unsure of. I'm not convinced the rear quarter of the vehicle jives with the front portion. I think ultimately i need to see this vehicle in person to pass judgment whether I like it or not. Fgts
It looks too much like a CUV then a real SUV. I prefer the older "boxy" look they had 2 generations ago.
