Traction Control issues 2010 Focus SE

Hi there, So this morning I went ahead and installed a new Ignition Housing using the how-to provided here: http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/general-technical-chat/309714-steering-column-ingition-problem-solved.html

The instructions were perfect. The ignition works like a charm now. Problem is, now when I go over 30mph, the traction control kicks on, rapidly and intermittently, throwing the car into jolty-jumpy limp mode. The only thing I can venture that could be going on is that I either damaged the steering wheel angle sensor, or jarred some wires loose. In any case, it's exceedingly frustrating, and the dealership doesn't seem to know wtf is wrong either. Apparently the sensor goes in and out of communcation. Has anyone else had an issue like this? If so, how was it solved?
