Does it have a drivers side knee airbag? Son in law in law enforcement in pursuit of motorcycle, motorcycle went around curve and veered into the other lane. Oncoming car swerved to miss and hit his cruiser head on at about 50 mph on two lane road. He is okay, I ask if knee air bags deployed and he said no. Neither of us know if it has knee airbags. Perhaps he just didn't see them as it appears they are rather small. Unfortunately the other car was a compact and the man's kneecaps are busted.

Thanks to everyone involved my eight year old grandson still has a father and my daughter still has her husband.

Thanks for the reply. I'll have him to check again when things settle down to see if it did indeed deploy. My husband and I figure when the steering wheel airbag deflates it falls down over the top of the knee airbag thus obscuring the view. I spoke with my daughter again and her husband said the poor guy in the little compact car was standing there with his kneecaps showing, ugh, and kept apologizing. As I said, my son in law came through in pretty good shape (through the passenger side window!).

Next day correction: Man in other car was not standing, both legs were broke.
