Howard Wilner Posted August 6, 2016 Share Posted August 6, 2016 2014 F-250 trailer tail/parking lights used to work, now after taking it to the dealer for repair under warranty, I am being told that they only work when the tow/haul button is pressed with the ignition on. This doesn't make sense to me, the parking lights would only work on the truck then.... I think the dealer is feeding me a line... The lights used to work, and they are tlling me that I am wrong.... twintornados Posted August 6, 2016 Share Posted August 6, 2016 Check the ground strap from the frame of the trailer to the body where the lights are mounted...had a similar problem with my tilt trailer....missing ground strap was the culprit.
