boxdin
Many times over the years since the 60s Ford has considered a wagon or shooting brake Mustang. Why not? It would sell like hotcakes and open buyers up to those who have to carry stuff. Seems like a no brainer to me.......
twintornados
Whatever you want to call it...shooting brake, saloon, wagon...it will not sell in the North American market....now, if you want to do an SUV version, THAT will sell....

Agreed. It would never sell in a volume that Ford could justify the cost that it would require. And in much of the USA the Mustang is a niche vehicle sales wise. transitman
Why mess with an American classic that has a loyal following, good sales and is a part of automobile history. Leave the "shooting brake" to the customizer's. Edited May 7, 2016 by transitman
