Ford Motor Company April 2016 sales

Recommended Posts

It's amazing that,

Despite a 11.5% drop in cars, Ford brand saw a 3.3% rise in sales

because of increases in Utilities (4.4%) and Trucks (3.3%)

Despite a 21.7% drop in cars, Lincoln saw a 20.2% rise in sales because of a 52%increases in Utilities.

And guys,

We're allowed to post full sales releases - they are not a breach of copyright.

12.4% of Explorer sales have been PIU year to date. I guess the police version profit margin must be as good or better than retail... that's a lot of volume being taken out of retail inventory but Ford doesn't seem to mind.

And E-series sales year to date are the same as previous year (18k) which is remarkable because Ford is only selling E-350 and E-450 cutaway and stripped chassis now vs. last year when the E-150/250/350 vans were still available. So looks like Ford is on track to sell about 60~70k E-series cutaway/stripped chassis - more than enough to justify investment in a new stand alone model in my opinion.
