jasonj80
Looks like the '17 is getting the new front/headlights and taillights.

No. There's no major changes anticipated until production ends in 2018. Nevermind, I just read the order guide. Seems weird they would do it with only a year and a half of production remaining. Shorty Long
Nope. Just saw one on the line. They barely changed anything. interesting. here's the wording taken directly from the 2017 c-max order guide: EXTERIOR ● New — Redesigned headlamps, grille opening and taillamps — Grille–Ebony with Chrome Surround–Standard on SE — Grille–Chrome with Chrome Surround–Standard on Titanium — LED Signature Lighting–Standard on SE Edited September 2, 2016 by Shorty Long
fuzzymoomoo
Well I mean technically the taillights are redesigned in a sense that the reverse lights are flipped from the top to the bottom of the bezel, but the shape is exactly the same. There's no discernible difference in the front end. I can't figure out what's "redesigned" about it. Literally the only way I could tell it apart from the '16 model was the wheels. MKII
The image on the fleet guide http://www.fleet.ford.com/resources/ford/general/pdf/brochures/2017/2017_FleetPreviewGuide_Spreads_Med.pdf you can see the headlamp shape has changed, grille shape, lower facia & fog lamp area design are all different. No rear end images.

scott6k
Is the driver's seat any different for 2017? They look different in the pictures compared to the 2016s. I test drove a 2016 Energi and did not find the seat very comfortable. Front to back depth of the seat was too little so there wasn't much thigh support. AceT123
Anyone have the numbers for how many CMaxes were sold in MY 2017? I'm interested in buying a 2017 as they become available off lease.
