CAP`ers

With the political season a pond us I`ll pass along one of my long winded posts, If your up for a long winded post and an example of the freedom of speech, well.... read on......

Members of the 551,

With a younger membership here at the 551, I feel that as an older, higher seniority member (old long hair) I should pass on some information that some members may be unaware of. This information has in no way a political basis or should in no way be construed as the writers attempt to do anything more than to pass on information that may help this membership.

As the letters I posted on my cabinet, tell of an elected member that over the recent years has brought charges against the writer and other fellow members, I will put forth facts that bring this information up to this current time.

I will only reference my case and a past chairman`s case but, there were other charges presented by this elected member over the years. To date none of the charges have been proven to have any references to constitutional language or honest facts. This elected member has never won a case or proved any of his charges.

The charges that Houldieson brought against the sitting chairman at the time, was an attempt to discredit the chairman, by charging that the chairman was costing our local an unusually high amount in legal fees. (less than a third currently) After multiple times of the writer pointing out to Houldieson, that these legal costs were nothing out of the ordinary, Houldieson continued with his charges. At a general membership meeting, the writer presented the data backing up the facts that the charges were at best just a personal issue (politically motivated) between Houldieson and the then sitting chairman, at the same general membership meeting after much discussion of the facts that the writer presented, Houldieson reluctantly withdrew his charges according to constitutional protocol.

Then I reference the charges that Houldieson brought against the writer. Houldieson`s charges showed a clear case of Houldieson believing he was above the constitution`s due process. This along with Houldieson`s firm belief that (he) could pass judgment on and set penalties on a member without due process or a clear understanding of the constitution, this lead the writer though a four year period of involvement with the Region 4 Representatives and International Representatives, concluding with an appearance in front of the International Public Review Board.

The writer produced facts, at discussions with the regional auditors and produced evidence to the International Presidents Office representatives. But,it was made apparent the writer was already guilty as charged. I still can`t understand why, maybe the judge and the jury (Houldieson) had the Regional and International Rep`s believing his charges were something of a divine nature and/or possibly with all the mistakes that the International Union Representatives committed, made it a sure thing that Houldieson had to be correct and his charges had to be made to have merit. To establish this merit the International Union instructed a Servicing Representative (Contractual Language Expert) to find this merit. The Servicing Rep then dreamed up 42 pages of fantasy to try and give Houldieson`s charges merit and to cover up prejudicial actions and rulings that the International Union was on record of doing. As you will read in the ruling by the Public Review Board, this fantasy didn`t have positive results. (Public Review Boards conclusion is on line case #1713 and posted on my cabinet)

Fortunately, there were members both verbally and outwardly supporting the writer. These union members (sheep dogs) came to the aid of the writer; these members not only were willing but, did just as they said they would do. These members wrote letters of support and voicing in print their feelings on both the charges and the judge and jury`s (Houldieson) true motivation. I’ve posted some of these letters of support, on my cabinet.

After four plus years, of the writer being made to ride the rail road through these Regional and International investigations along with mistakes by the auditors and complete disregard for the constitution by the International, then listening to our servicing rep state he was a contractual language expert, (over and over) I then sat with a great team of labor lawyers in front of the International Public Review Board. The rest is history. The writer is the first local 551 member to not buckle or coward down to the political games that our union representatives play. Local, Regional and International Rep`s had to have had a collective “how the hell did he do that”!!!!

Members of CAP, don`t ever give up, the writer is proof that hard work and holding on to the truth, while being belittled and per-judged by our own union representatives, can and did get the International President`s and International Executive Boards decision over turned.

I have one last point to make, if the judge and jury (Houldieson) was so concerned about lost time being paid improperly why, then has Houldieson and other elected members of the executive board allowed for the paying of executive board members in a way that completely goes against our local by-laws? Allowing for a $17,000.00 increase in lost time in one year for one e-board member and almost $53,000.00 in lost time payments to administer your grievances by another e-board member? Nothing in our by-laws states a recording secretary’s duties are to be a grievance administrator at our hall. But, the by-laws do state “one day” a week our financial secretary will perform duties at the plant. With no changes in the by-laws these two positions of your executive board have received large increases in their lost time pay. How? Did the membership ever vote on these lost time increases? Did those members of the executive board think that by just looking the other way it is proper or legal to just give each other such raises in lost time? How can Houldieson look the other way, with his self-proclaimed expertise in our by-laws? Did the Judge and Jury (Houldieson) think this was proper when Houldieson, as vice president signed the lost time checks? How could our recording secretary sign the vouchers for these lost time checks, did she think it was proper or legal to receive this increase in lost time? Did our trustee`s ever stop to think they were assisting in these improper or illegal payments of lost time by preforming semiannual audits that didn`t question these lost time payments? Our constitution clearly spells out and confirms that if an executive board participates in paying themselves something outside of what is stated in the by-laws that would be “misappropriation”. There are articles in our constitution that explain these wrongful payments of lost time along with due process and/or charges being spelled out clearly. Did our executive board forget their financial training?

With this passing on of information, I cannot thank every member that gave me the will to take my truth and facts all the way to the Public Review Board, enough. These are the members that throw politics’ and self-serving political gain aside and are the true meaning of the union ideology. SHEEP DOGS in the truest form thank you all Linda, Joann, Anna, Antwanue, Ryan, Grant, Waco, Barny, Andrew, April, Danny, Dino, Trace, Wayne, Dean, Fred, Frank, Ben, Big Curt, Mike and every one else (BON would send out a hit man if I put evevy SHEEP DOGS name here)

With the election season coming up I have one question, will the membership once again elect or re-elect, self-serving, always correct, self-proclaimed super activists and/or experts to another elected position? (Maybe one of these e-board members with his blank list of accomplishment’s will dazzle the membership...... again)

If I can give one bit of advice, “beware of those self-centered elected members behind those smiling faces”.

The Writer

Well....

Here we go again.... CAP posted for "100" members to follow the MKS to FRAP? The MKS isn`t going to FRAP...? The Continental isn`t even on the same platform.... "100 production members? and "9" trades members? A "7 day" window to sign up for the transfer? In bold print on the announcement "30 K" of jackpot money to everyone chosen to run away to FRAP....

We here at CAP have day after day of "to short to relieve so send every general to final" or "call in the trades members from their RDO`s" yet... we have the manpower to send 109 members to FRAP?

The timing of this.....? wondering who is already on the list?

Hey fuzzy how`s things at FRAP? ....... <----yeah I know bad habit ;) has something to do with noddin off with my finger on the key

The influx of TPTs who have no hope in hell of ever being hired permanently has begun. Meanwhile I'm still waiting for some kind of permanent posting that I actually have a chance of getting. I didn't sign for the most recent one because it wasn't worth the gas to drive up to MAP labor relations for the very slim chance of being 1 out of 30 to successfully bid to a plant that I'm not sure I want to be at.

So you know, the usual.

Yep I hear you Fuzzy, it really seems to me that the lives of the membership are just as expendable to the company as they are to the union.

Here at CAP the political circus is in full swing. Promises are jumping out of the mouths of politicians like turds from the ass of a sheep with bowel issues. You know that song and dance, hell the local rep`s learned from the greatest dancers in the union, Jimmy. We have members here at CAP that believe the song and dance, then get their parade rained on but, then listen to and believe the same old sheep shit over and over.

I think it`s total sheep shit that you and so many others that are being put out in or left out in that fricken wait and see world and have to go through this shit over and fricken over again.

Then to add to the other stinking shit the members here at CAP are now arguing about "wait a minute I signed up to go back for free!!!!" "fuck that I want on the list to get paid 30K to go back!!!" If I was to write this shit into a novel the book industry would categorize it as "fiction" because no one could ever believe it was the truth. Who comes up with these sheep herder, politically stupid decisions to release this type of weird shit? 6 weeks before an election?

Hang in there Fuzzy

Speaking of writing a book, there was another chapter expressed to me Thursday.

I had just started to tell a current election committee member I will be supporting him when, I got the sheep in the head lights look all over my face. I barely got out what I was saying about how I couldn't vote for all of his committee members when he started to explain and explain....

It seems this member of the current election committee was not running with or running at all because, in his words "I can no longer go along with all the lying, cheating, stupid shit and yes all that lost time for people that are not even there during the elections" That`s when the sheep in the head lights look must have been very apparent on my face to him because, in his words "yes, there here times when I counted and recounted and one member of the election committee was off by 206 ballets, over what she had names checked off for". "Then there`s the members that show up late eat and just leave but, still get their 12 hours lost time". Not being to amazed by his colorful descriptions of his time with the current election committee I just said thanks for your honesty and walked away.

One thing for sure this information completely opens up my choices.

Yep, another chapter in the old long hairs book of "Chicago Politic`s a Way of Life" or "As the 551 Turns". :twister:
