NIce to see the F-series is starting to build stock up again, but I'm assuming its Ford front loading Super Duties for the change over...

Well, with Super Duty, they have the advantage of building the current model while adding a new line for the new truck, so supply will be less interrupted than F-150's was.

From what I understand, there's a new body shop going in but the trucks will still be build down the same final assembly line.

But yes, the transition is expected to be far less disruptive than the gut and refit carried out for the F150 two plant changeover.

Big F Series inventory (277K) going into March, fingers crossed we see sales crank up again this month.

Compared to last year, it looks like GM inventory levels are tending flat or slightly lower thanks to lower fleet sales

while Ford on the other hand is building inventory and ready to pounce this spring and summer.

So are we approaching the top of the market, Is Gm already going defensive with less inventory?

Or is Ford picking the peak of the market to be later this year....

Interesting times ahead.
