gacm76
Hi, Does anyone own a set of Weather Tech floor mats for a 2016 Fusion? How do they fit? I've heard it can be hit or miss and I don't want to purchase them if they do not fit well. Also, I will have a Fusion Energi. I know the trunk is different, but would there be any difference for the front or rear floor wells from the standard Fusion?
mettech
I have weather tech mats in my '11 and '14 fusion. The floor mats fit well.. but I do not like the trunk floor liner.
gacm76
OK thanks. Glad to hear they fit well. I'm not looking to buy the trunk one. I don't think I'll be using the trunk much with the Energi.
BORG
I have the Digital Fit floor liners in all my cars, absolutely love them. The floor mats for my 2011/13 MKX did not fit well however because WeatherTech used the Edge for reference so small changes here and there meant they the 2nd row liner didn't fit right. MKX has covers over the seat bolts and Edge doesn't, and the 1st row seat liners were too snug because of differences in the carpet and center console. gacm76
Question, did you still keep them or did they let you return them?
BORG
Question, did you still keep them or did they let you return them? I kept them, it was still the best solution I had at the time. I no longer have that car but I just bought them for my '16 MKX which fit perfectly.
gacm76
Thanks again for your help. I placed my order today! Unfortunately, I will probably get my mats before the care though.
transitman
I just checked the Weather Tech site and floor mats are now available for the 2017 Fusion. Direct from their web site, Weather Tech wants $179.90 plus shipping for a full set and $109.95 plus shipping for a set of fronts only. I found a much better deal at http://www.autoanything.com/floor-mats/husky-liners-weatherbeater-floor-liners where the Husky WeatherBeaters are $125.96 for a full set and free shipping, plus, no tax in Minnesota. I like Husky liners because they're more flexible and easier to get in and out, especially when there's melted snow in them. transitman
Do not purchase the Husky WeatherBeater Liners for the 2017, they don't fit. I don't know if it's a bad design, or they're trying to sell the 2013-2016 liners for the 2017, but there isn't enough depth from the dead pedal to the firewall, so there's a space under the mat at the transition from the floor pan to the firewall. I tried twice to get them to fit and no luck. I'm going to call AutoAnything tomorrow for an explanation and to arrange to return them. transitman
Once they realized they had sent the wrong part, AutoAnything was very apologetic. If you purchase 2017 Fusion Husky floor liners make, sure it's part number 98791
transitman
I got my 2017 Weather Tech (oops, meant Weather Beater) Husky mats today and they fit beautifully and provide great coverage. I'm not wishing for sloppy weather, but I'm prepared. Edited September 24, 2016 by transitman

Besides the Husky label on the drivers side...the Weathertecs don't come anywhere close to covering the dead pedal like Huskys do. Be careful when they are wet they become very slippery when you plant your right foot to get in. I pulled a groin muscle and was in a world of hurt for awhile. I quickly s-canned them and got Aries 3D mats. Just a word of caution. Edited September 23, 2016 by hermans
