Kev-Mo
Thanks! Great to see all the charts rather than just GM. I consider Toyota the biggest competitor.
rmc523
I wonder how much SRX/XT5 sales will crater with the new one coming out.

I don't think it'll crater as much as the sedans, but I still think Caddy supports are in for a surprise. I guess we shouldn't worry, though....the CT6 will save them....right? Or wait, that's the CT8.....the TRUE flagship.... ....or maybe the XT7... that'll do it! ....oops, I meant CT4! ....argh, nope, XT9! I think I got it right that time!

2b2
THANKS, Jpd!! I added Porsche & Volvo charts "elsewhere" (can't attach here) & here's a LINK to JagLR's report
jpd80
Thanks for the chip in 2b2, I've got this feeling that Cadillac's car sales are going to become like Jaguar's sales numbers, higher priced for exclusivity inevitably means less sales for hopefully a net gain in profit...or does it? Elsewhere, With Cruze, sure GM will get a lift in sales due to new product but that comes with an up front delivery cost on that new product. Focus sales are down but if Ford upgraded power trains for the last two years, a strong connection might see a good bump in sales
jpd80
Thanks! Great to see all the charts rather than just GM. I consider Toyota the biggest competitor. Toyota is interesting and while biker may seem a bit extreme in view, he does have a point with how much high profit vehicles Toyota imports, they are almost off most people's import radar. It's also a great protection strategy for when sales start to decline - the boats just stop bringing vehicles.
