Lincoln is bringing back the brown

Addendum to this:

I did put the left rear door on this car, and I'm pretty sure it is a black label model judging by the black filling of the letters that spell out "Lincoln" on the decklid.

As well as the black accented side "Continental" spear, another BL detail! I'm thinking its a BL in the Thoroughbred theme.

So that's why the panel gaps on that door are terrible...

:stirpot: hahaha :hysterical:

But seriously it looks great!

I think I put the left rear door on that car

Excellent, you can put the left rear door on my car anytime... oh wait it's a Mustang... I don't have one. Damn!

Actually that is kind of cool to see a prototype and know you had something to do with it. It must be kind of fun to watch something like this roll down the assembly line. Do they tell you it's coming in advance or are you surprised the day you see it coming down the line?

It doesn't look much like a Bentley now and I can see some of the MKR show car in the c pillar too. You almost see something new every time you look at it.

They haven't built any start to finish on night shift yet, so I usually see them on the line when I walk in. Doors-on is the last station on my line, and my line is the second to last line.

I do occasionally do front doors too, which personally I like better because it's a rotation so I'm not doing the same thing all night. I'm a floater so I do a bunch of different jobs, but it's usually one of the 3 out of 4 doors-on jobs. The 4th guy is like me and rarely ever takes a day off so I've only done his job twice.
