GeeVee
Just wondering if anyone has experience driving late model TC van in the snow. Taking delivery of my 2016 van later in Dec or early Jan. I'm used to driving the MN winters in a 4x4 and wondering how the TC handles the snow and ice. Any problems blasting through snow berms with ground clearance? Had Michelin X Ice snow tires on spare rims for my last FWD passenger car. Would consider the same for the TC if required.
fuzzymoomoo
I drove a 2011 TC at my last job. It was a company van and a total stripper model. Even without the 200lbs of floor cleaning equipment in the back I was still able to navigate Metro Detroit roads during an overnight snowstorm that dumped 8+ inches of snow before the plow trucks were able to catch up to it. It was a FWD model with the factory Conti-pro all season tires on it. Hope that helps!
