That would be more credible if our dues were not raised and shifting millions of our dues paid dollars into their general spending fund.

http://laborunionreport.com/2014/06/10/uaw-bosses-turn-25-million-of-dues-increase-into-slush-fund-for-organizing-and-other-expenses/

And they did that AFTER it was promised that all extra dues would go straight into the strike fund to bring the level back up.

F'ing liars.

Beck rights are starting to look good.

That is why resolution forms are distributed a year before contracts are negotiated. For both the national and local agreements. These resolutions are then voted on locally and sent to the respective negotiators/sub committees. If employees actually took a few minutes to try and make a difference before hand, we would not have so much complaining later. I would bet money that Decker filled out and submitted some resolutions.

You`d win that bet justwishing.

But, as with the contractual convention I attend, the resolutions committee reads only a select group of resolutions to the delegates... It would be a safe bet that the resolutions read to the delegates are in line with and filtered by the incumbent caucus...(same democratic process President Bashar al-Assad uses) The other method of weeding out unwanted incumbent caucus resolutions is on a local level. (being shot? nope thats Bashar`s favorite) If let say hypothetically a president (551-pasted) just happens to be begging for a stroll up the golden stair case (hypothetically) he might, ok might, happen to send the local`s approved resolutions to the convention just slightly after the dead line, to be concidered... (hypothetically) or the local may have a super activist member that pushes to be heard on the floor of a convention, then starts reciting verses from a bible he wrote (with all the colorful you should of`s) and yep the mike is turned off... either method works well.

All votes cast at the convention (if actual votes are taken) are of the voice nature. So the yeah`s always have it and the neah`s well, are the ones not going to be concidered for any stroll up the golden stair case to region or the solid golden house where dreams do come true and fantasy floats around like tinker bell everyday. As far as abstaining? from voting on a resolution ummm that is never asked by the presiding member of the business in front of the convention.

It would be another safe bet, that the majority of membership will never (51% ;) ) ever see themselves in the true light that the IUAW views their income generating minion`s. (share croper`s that get the corp of dues ready for harvest)

Ok... the Assad... reference may in some eye`s be concidered a little harsch.... but this is one share croper that has earned the right to free speach soo fuck their (IUAW) feelings. As the IUAW would say lets move on to the next resolution.. now sit down or you will be transferred to a UAW local in Raqqa....

Does any care that your UAW brothers and sisters at Sterling and Rawsonville are getting the shaft???The 2 tier aren't getting 8yrs of raises and the legacy people are now considered SURPLUS.Thats why I voted No because soon it will be coming to a parts plant near you.Transmissions and engines are just parts you know.

It torques me off that our contract details are front page news. No one else has their business aired like this. On top of that they state that all members now have a path to top pay. This is just a flat out lie. So where's the accountability with the media? I think the IUAW has a direct link to the media and they LIE!

  • 3 weeks later...

They need to take our monthly dues back to 2 hours.

When is the next convention that this can be "voted" on?

I don't think we need to wait for a convention..... If I remember correctly, we were told that .5 hour was to shore-up the strike fund to show the auto companies we mean business. Well we mean business alright........... and now that we didn't strike...........and we don't need to put the money in there as fast............. I'm sure they will back it off to just 2 hours............. hehehahahehe Oh, I'm on Saturday Night Live this weekend with more jokes.........Please watch..............NOT..............

Maybe George Carlin has the answer for ya...........

Lastman.... you hit the nail right the fuck on the head!!!!!

Now stop and think when this was said by the old gray haired "realist thinking fuck" (God rest his clear thinking soul)

The dumbing down of the school systems is working great. (those Dem`s are going to be pissed when they read that...you know education is the cure for everything) Just look around at the leaders here at Ford that we work for. Anyone can be an MBA.... shit they give that fuckin watered down degree away with every pair of Nike`s you buy at the college book store. Or if you can`t buy the Nike`s... no!!! problem!!! Never sit in one engineering class really? whats the issue? Hey go be a Manufacturing Engineer..... ;)

Wanna be a repair person cool just know someone and BAM you are being paid as a repair person. Know the steps to repair a paint concern? no? Fuck just tell them you weren`t trained..... hell, use that one 2 or 3 times shit the leaders can`t remember yesterday.

Our leaders have 6 or 7 thousand non shippables riding the merry go round for weeks,(month's) call in the experts to paint repair in the storage lot, (yeah Chicago weather in December, real interesting when it comes to paint repair outside... (in a tent) have those ever popular Rousch boys setting up camp in the new or improved? MOD and sit back...haaaa job well done. Then in full amazement be completely caught off guard when ..... the customers aren`t happy with there Platt em Ummm $60K fuckin units....?

(Is there a fix for my fuckin Fucus yet? mine is on the second clutch assembly)

Ahhh education and experience.... not a needed commodity anymore here at CAP. Shit just say you haven`t been trained.
