It would be very coincidental if you happen to be sick or couldn't make it to work three times on the first or last day of the work week. Voting no on this contract because of that would be ridiculous.I voted no for this and 1000 other reason.. trailfndr Posted November 23, 2015 Share Posted November 23, 2015 Its a clause that was not needed. The Company had the right to deny after the fact absences at any time if it affected production. Anytime the line didn't start, they could have exercised this right, but they failed to do so. It would have only taken a few times to teach people that coming to work was important. The Company fails miserably when it comes to actually dealing with problem people. they prefer to go after the workers that do their job and show up everyday.
