superjake
Thank you to all who voted no or are going to vote no! Years and years our wages have been stagnant, concessions, give backs , two tier, plant closings, the list goes on. We have sacrificed family and friends to stay with ford through some hard times. There is no doubt that some of the ford employees have had it harder than others. Now is the time that we get rewarded for everything we gave up! Ford is doing very good. The UAW proposed contract doesn't live up to our expectations. If the contract was so great, why the bogus signing bonus? Really they have to borrow from profit sharing to pay the signing bonus!? What a joke. Vote no and we will get a better offer! Thanks
powerhousejc
You do realize that we're not getting a better contract right? Not a substantially better deal by any means.

superjake
So you have already seen the next contract offer? Send the UAW back to negotiating don't be a coward. You must have never bought a home, if so did you pay asking price,? Or did you make a counteroffer! With scared members we are all in trouble, retirees included. We must not forget our retirees and our hope to join them someday!
superjake
Maybe maybe not! How about this... We can all donate to weecountry the money he so desperately needs aka signing bonus. Then he can vote with his head and not his ass! Think twice before you vote yes, or next contract we could all be in weecountrys shoes! littlecountry
Yes I have seen it and Ford is pulling a hostess situation!!!! You guys blew it, the company gave us everything we asked for in this contract, for crying out loud 2nd Tier got a better progression time frame than Canada got in there contract and you guys think you got wronged! Ford should have said screw you keep the 80/20 and let 2nd Tier wages stay in place and let it take some people 15 to 20 years to move up to top pay! You guys don't look at the big picture! Ford is not going to do a lot of hiring in the near future so most all of you 2nd Tier would stay at low wages for a long time but with contract you get top pay in 4 more years! Geezzz bunch of school age kids voting these days with no common sense

caustic
yes, because the 2nd tier workers have the majority of votes 2nd tier is going to get all the heat for this going down thiugh even though we are not a majority. 2nd tier, CAP, KTP, and LAP ruined it! Mrs. Settles needs to be calling FMC now and working on contract number 2.

We must not forget our retirees and our hope to join them someday! You know the last time a contract was voted down? 1982. THIRTY THREE YEARS AGO. This idea of voting it down in hopes of something better is asinine. Its never happened before this year and FCX caved because they know they are going belly up in 4 years anyway. Wonder why Sergio has been shopping the company?

Maybe he will realize instead of mouthing off to the press saying their was nothing more on the table and stabbing us all in the back he will remember he works for us and not against us
