Side Job Billy
First, I'm an idiot. Tried pulling my 16 ft brush trailer with about 2000 lb load through 200 yards of our lovely Texas gumbo. sank about 2 ft before it was starting to come out when i blew a giant hole in the top of my radiator. shut it down immediately, but when getting pulled out i had to start it to help get it out. gave it fuel for like 3 seconds then just let it idle to continue the aid, but that only lasted another 5 seconds maybe before it just shut down. I have replaced the radiator, but now it does not even try to start. PLEASE HELP, ive already put new HPOP, oil cooler, egr delete, sct programmer, turbo boost builder harness, and several other odd and ends. only had the truck 1 1/2 months, still owe $19,000, and starting to freak out. trying to get all the mud out from under it now, but really have no clue what to look for next. tried to reflash it but programmer does not recognize the ignition in the on position. LOVE THJIS TRUCK SO PLEEEEEAAAAASSEE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
theoldwizard
Do you have spark and fuel ? If not, it could be a crank sensor issue.
Side Job Billy
starting to lean towards the possibility of a short or bad ecm. at first, when i would turn the key to the on position, you could not hear the fuel system kick in and the glow plug light would not go off. when tried to start, i only got a clicking under the dash. now i can hear my fuel system kicking in,and the glow plug light goes off but take a while. still only getting a clicking under the dash when tried to start. however, when i connect my scan tool or the sct flash programmer, it is not recognizing the ignition in the on position.
