Greed!

Greed (Latin, avaritia), also known as avarice, cupidity, or covetousness, is the inordinate desire to possess wealth, goods, or objects of abstract value with the intention to keep it for one's self, far beyond the dictates of basic survival and comfort. It is applied to a markedly high desire for and pursuit of wealth, status, and power.

As secular psychological concept, greed is, similarly, an inordinate desire to acquire or possess more than one needs. The degree of inordinance is related to the inability to control the reformulation of "wants" once desired "needs" are eliminated. Erich Fromm described greed as "a bottomless pit which exhausts the person in an endless effort to satisfy the need without ever reaching satisfaction." It is typically used to criticize those who seek excessive material wealth, although it may apply to the need to feel more excessively moral, social, or otherwise better than someone else.

The purpose for greed, and any actions associated with it, is possibly to deprive others of potential means (perhaps, of basic survival and comfort) or future opportunities accordingly, or to obstruct them therefrom, as a measure of enhanced discretion via majority belongings-having and majority competitive advantage, thus insidious and tyrannical or otherwise having negative connotation. Alternately, the purpose could be defense or counteraction from such dangerous, potential leverage in matters of questionable agreeability. A consequence of greedy activity may be inability to sustain any of the costs or burdens associated with that which has been or is being accumulated, leading to a backfire or destruction, whether of self or more generally. So, the level of "inordinance" of greed pertains to the amount of vanity, malice or burden associated with it.

Haha....this right here sums up Tier 1's thinking that they deserve things ahead of Tier 2's.

Voting yes in order to get a 3% raise while knowing at the same time it eliminates Tier 2's opportunity to become Tier 1....is greed according to the definition.

You're an idiot.

I'd rather us tier 2 workers get bumped up to that new pay scale than sit back and wait for a cap to be met and still be capped out at under 20 an hour. If Tier 1 voted that in zi would be grateful.

Tier2 you seriously need to go back to stocking shelves, flipping burgers, or whatever crap job you had before the plant. It is what you deserve for the rest of your life.

We could get bumped up to that scale if Tier 1 would stay at $28. Equal pay for equal work is what the UAW was built upon. Sorry you can't comprehend that.

Really? If they stay at 28 for 16 years instead of the 12 they are already at? Your mother should have swallowed.

Something for everyone, period. No one should get left out this contract, including tier 1.

This tier2 guy is the reason I will vote for any contract that screws him. worst example of a new employee in the history of Ford motor co. I would add a d to the fire if I could. in a heart beat.

Of course you would, you are a greedy Tier 1. You would vote yes to anything that gets you a raise now. Even if it means screwing future brothers and sisters. Just remember somebody before you fought for what you got now.

Will someone just ban this fool already?

If getting your ass up to 25 an hour is getting screwed you should just be put out of your misery now.
